Install Button Mapper TV Seniors Help

Install: Download the app from the Play Store on your Android TV or TV Box. Follow the steps to complete the installation.

It uses Accessibility Services to detect the remote control input.

Open Settings: Navigate to your device Settings.

Find Accessibility: Scroll down and select Accessibility (or Device Preferences > Accessibility).

Option 2: Sideloading the Full Version (For Non-Play Store Devices)

Another way to ensure your launcher stays active is by installing the Full Sideload Version of the app. This version is specifically optimized to handle Home Button events internally on many TV boxes.
When to use this: We recommend this method only if your TV Box does not have Google Play Store support or if you are using an “open” Android OS (AOSP) device.

Get Full Version & Fix Home Button

Due to Google Play Store and other app store restrictions, the standard version cannot override system buttons automatically. To access this feature and many more advanced capabilities free from limitations, you need the Unlocked Full Version.

Install Send To TV Quick

On your TV, open the Play Store and search for ‘Send to TV Quick’ or use the package ID: com.sendtotvquick.com Install the app to continue.

Open Send To TV Quick

Follow the instructions to grant installation permissions. This must be done manually by selecting the app and enabling the toggle.

Step 3 of 6 (On MOBILE)

Send the Code: SC:PLUI

Send code SC:PLUI from your mobile app. The STVQ will appear automatically on your TV, activating the Install button.

Step 4 of 6 (On TV)

Install Full Premium TV Launcher

The install button will be enabled. Click OK and follow the steps to complete the installation.

This version includes the “Home Button Fixer” module safe for Sideloading. It uses Accessibility Services to detect the remote control input.

Most major device manufacturers lock the HOME button to their stock launcher. While you can force a change using ADB commands (for experts only), we recommend a simpler way.

I bought the Elite version on Google Play. What happens now?

Existing Installation: If you already have Premium TV Launcher installed on this TV, no action is needed. It will continue to work normally with your Elite benefits.
New Device: To install on a new device, first install the standard version from the Google Play Store to verify your purchase, then install the Full version from here.
New Purchase: If you haven’t bought Elite yet, you can purchase it directly within the Full version. The payment will be handled securely by Google Play.

My TV doesn’t have the Google Play Store. How do I install it?

You can easily install it using the Send to TV Quick (STV) app, as described in the guide above. Alternatively, use our “TV Setup” utility tool to perform an automatic installation.

Why are certain apps (such as Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, Flow, Bell Fibe TV, or Tidal, etc…) not opening or crashing?

Certain high-security apps and those containing DRM (Digital Rights Management) content require a completely “trusted” environment from the Android operating system to launch. If you are using a custom launcher, Android may restrict these apps from starting for security reasons.
To resolve this issue and ensure a perfect viewing experience, please follow these steps:

Set as Default (Default Home App): It is essential to set our Launcher as the primary application on your TV. If your device is “locked” (e.g., Xiaomi, Chromecast), enable the Launcher in the Accessibility Services settings. This provides the necessary “Trusted Status” required for provider apps to open.
Automatic Time Settings: Ensure that the date and time on your TV are set to “Automatic.” Protected apps (DRM) verify time synchronization, and if they detect a discrepancy, they will block access.
