Fix Your Home Button

Enable Developer Options

On your TV Box, go to Settings and follow these steps:

• Go to Device Preferences > About.
• Scroll down to find “Build Number”.
• Click “Build Number” 7 times rapidly using your remote’s OK button.
• You will see a message: “You are now a developer!”

Turn On Debugging

Go back to the main Settings menu.

• Go to Device Preferences > Developer Options.
• Find “USB Debugging” (or “Network Debugging”) and turn it ON.
• Confirm by clicking OK.

Get the “Remote ADB” App

You need a free tool to send the command. Install it on your Phone (easiest) or on the TV.

Connect to TV

• Open the Remote ADB Shell app.
• IP Address: Type 127.0.0.1 (if app is on TV) OR your TV’s IP (if using phone).
• Port: Leave as 5555.
• Click CONNECT.
• IMPORTANT: Look at your TV screen. A popup will ask “Allow USB Debugging?”. Select “Always Allow” and click OK.

Run the Command

Select your device type to generate the correct command:

Copy and paste this into the Remote ADB app:

COPY COMMAND

Select Default Launcher

Now that the old launcher is disabled:

1. Press the HOME button on your remote.
2. A popup will ask which app to use.
3. Select Premium TV Launcher.UI.
4. Click “ALWAYS”.

You are done! Enjoy your new home screen.
