Fix Your Home Button
A simple guide to make Premium TV Launcher your default home screen.

Enable Developer Options
On your TV Box, go to Settings and follow these steps:
- Go to Device Preferences > About.
- Scroll down to find “Build Number”.
- Click “Build Number” 7 times rapidly using your remote’s OK button.
- You will see a message: “You are now a developer!”

Turn On Debugging
Go back to the main Settings menu.
- Go to Device Preferences > Developer Options.
- Find “USB Debugging” (or “Network Debugging”) and turn it ON.
- Confirm by clicking OK.

Get the “Remote ADB” App
You need a free tool to send the command. Install it on your Phone (easiest) or on the TV.
RECOMMENDED:
Search Play Store for: “Remote ADB Shell”

Connect to TV
- Open the Remote ADB Shell app.
- IP Address: Type
127.0.0.1(if app is on TV) OR your TV’s IP (if using phone). - Port: Leave as
5555. - Click CONNECT.
- IMPORTANT: Look at your TV screen. A popup will ask “Allow USB Debugging?”. Select “Always Allow” and click OK.

Run the Command
Select your device type to generate the correct command:
Copy and paste this into the Remote ADB app:
pm disable-user –user 0 com.google.android.tvlauncher

Select Default Launcher
Now that the old launcher is disabled:
- Press the HOME button on your remote.
- A popup will ask which app to use.
- Select Premium TV Launcher.UI.
- Click “ALWAYS”.
You are done! Enjoy your new home screen.
Need to Go Back? (UNDO)
If you want to restore the original Google Launcher, simply run this command:
pm enable com.google.android.tvlauncher
